The Grinding Requirements of Metal Ores

The metal ores have large hardness and it will be difficult for the grinding. As for the gangue minerals, which is used to form the ores with the metallic mineral are mostly some silicate rock-forming minerals, having large hardness and toughness. Among the metal ores, the hardness coefficient f can be up to 39 (some iron ore in America), the ores whose f is from 20 to 25 are very common in Russia, and the ores whose f is from 10 to 16 is quite common. Metal ores have large hardness and it is hard to be grinded, which makes the grinding energy consumption and material consumption higher, therefore the cost of grinding is higher. Thus, improving the grinding efficiency and energy saving have important significance in the metal ore grinding, which are also the particular requirements of the metal ore grinding.
