To Avoid Complex Process of Copper Ore Beneficiation

The yellow copper and pyrite (iron sulfide) is difficult for distinction sometimes with intuitive,. The industrial minerals of the copper include the native copper, chalcopyrite, chalcocite, tetrahedrite, azurite, malachite. There are more than 280 kinds of copper-containing minerals, and thenumber of the main minerals is only 16. In addition to the natural copper and malachite, there are still chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcocite, covellite and tetrahedrite. The ores that are mined in our country is mainly the chalcopyrite (the compounds of the copper and sulfur, iron), the following is the chalcocite and bornite. The following is the ore beneficiation methods of the copper to avoid the complex process.
1, segregation method (there is one section of segregation and two sections of segregation): it is used to handle the oxidized copper ore high copper content that is difficult to select. Leaching – extraction – electrowinning method is suitable for the treatment of low-grade copper ore oxide and mixed copper ore.
2, leaching method is used to deal with the copper oxide ores on the upper part of the open pit ore body, its processes is that using sulfuric acid to spray mine heap leaching solution with scrap iron and steel replacement, concentrated, dried precipitate copper.
3, acid leaching – sedimentation – flotation process is suitable for the processing of the copper oxide ores which contain higher copper sulfate, the commonly used copper beneficiation equipment is the flotation machine.
4, bacterial leaching method is suitable for the processing of the copper resources that have low grade and complex copper mineral occurrence conditions and can not be mined reasonably by the mining industry such as the waste rock containing the copper.
