The Crushers in the Production of Carbon Materials

Carbon is one kind of industrial materials that are widely used, in the production of carbon materials, a variety of raw materials of many products are composed of different granularity. The particle size, number, shape, and surface conditions of the particles have a greater impact on the   production process and product performance of carbon materials. In order to achieve close packing to improve the bulk density and reduce the porosity and improve the strength, typically the suitable grinding machinery is used to process carbonaceous materials, so as to satisfy the required particle size of the process, which shows that crushing operations is an important part in the production of carbon materials.
The coarse crushing of the carbon materials in the industry (or pre-crushing), more commonly use the jaw breaker or double teeth roll crusher and the medium crushing adopts the roll crusher  or impact crusher and milling commonly use ball mill and Raymond mill.
Currently, the crushing  machinery used in the industrial sectors can be divided into two categories: one is the crusher, the other is mill according to the broken particle size. The crusher is  generally used for handling larger massive material, its structure is characterized by a certain gap between the crusher member, it is not in contact with each other, the coarse product produced is generally more than 1mm. The materials handled by the mill are finer, the product is very small granular particles. It can reach 0.044mm or finer. Its structure is characterized by the crushing member (or medium) is in contact with each other, the crushing medium is usually bat or the material itself. However, this classification is not qualified, there are a lot of broken machinery belonging to neither of the both or they have the functions of the two kinds.
